Q.

My baby is almost 6 months old, born at 37 weeks with 2.4 weight. We recently noticed that he has a squint in his right eye which is visible sometimes when he looks far. Specially when he’s in a sitting position. I have attached the photo. Will he need surgery to fix it or will it get resolved on its own?

A. Yes it looks a little squint but as of now I would suggest you to wait till the age of one year let the eyes get completely stable in spite of that time also if you feel that the squint is there then you can check with an ophthalmologist a minor surgery would be done by the age of 4 to 5 years to fix the issue permanently
