Q.

My baby is a week old he is sleeping for more than 4 hr at a stretch and not waking for breastfeed even after trying a lot what to do

A. Crying of a Baby is mostly because of infantile colic and gas related discomfort whichf can be relieved by medicine like colicaid /gastica v drops. other reasons could be nasal blockage, ear pain, diaper rash and more which needs to be ruled out and managed accordingly .

A. To wake your baby up Grab a washcloth: Gently wipe your child's face with a wet washcloth. Try a bath: The feel of the water and the change in temperature might do the trick. Burp your baby: Patting and rubbing your baby's back can help to wake them up.
