Q.
my baby is a Brest feed alone with bottle feed twice a days, but at 3rd month due to ear infection my baby unable to suck my milk are turn to my side so she stopped drink my milk, now she is feed only with bottle when she is awake, when she is sleep she will search for breastfeeding so I try to give but while awake n playing she is not taking my milk what to do

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Gradually try to switch to breast feeding and before start feeding take baby in your lap and close to chest and let baby feel your warmth and gradually she will start sucking take care

Author of questionMom of 3 children3 years agoA. from starting now onward he is not interested in brestfeed, she will drink just 5min only, I try to feed her frequently but no use, now this problem is still continues, she don't like bottle feed also, while drink she like to she tv are her brother etc exciting thing so she will drink milk

but please avoid bottle feeding
offer milk with katori and spoon for now.
yes please don't give up,it will take time so please don't lose hope .
try your best.
ask help from your partner or family member when you feed your child.
to encourage your child first offer few drops of milk from bottle ,I mean before giving bottle drip or pour 2 or 3 drops in your child mouth (keep your child in your lap ) and then gently offer breasfeeding.
you may try feeding whenever your child is extremely hungry .

try different feeding positions
cuddle your baby and make skin to skin Contact while feeding your child which will definitely help to encourage your child to take more feeds
