my baby is 9th month old he is not sitting without support. is this delay

ExpertDr Priyashree Mukherjee ChakrabortyPaediatrician1 Year agoA. Some babies can show little delay in the milestones by 1 to 2 months. But I would advise you to show your child to a paediatrician who will get the neurological assessment of your child.

Yes in general terms it is a delay but in a lot of cases the doctor said that the child can learn to sit by the age of 12 months also but usually a child if it is healthy and there is no problem just sit by the age of eight months to 8 1/2 months so please consult the doctor just for further assistance
