my baby is 9 months old, after eating food she is pooping immediately. is it normal?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. 9 months baby is passing stool immediately after taking food It is quite common that in small babies they will be passing motion immediately after taking feeding this is because of gastrocolic reflex present in the babies no need to worry about this as the baby is growing in the age it will disappear

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent, yes it is absolutely normal among babies. Do not worry much. But as long as poop is not watery and not contain mucus it is okay and try to control it by not giving much of milk.
But if poop contains mucus then consult with your paediatric once.
