Q.
My baby is 9 month old, she is having cold, how do I clean her nose because in the night time when she was sleeping, she was feeling suffocated and wakeup due to this, please suggest.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. yes baby has difficulty in breathing due to cold.
For nasal blockage give naso clear saline drops which should be put in nose 2 drops each.
Can give otrivin pediatric nasal drops 2- 3 drops each nose.
Can give indirect steam inhalation in which steam is just in surrounding of baby. It can help to remove mucus by coughing process.
Apply vicks vaporub over back and chest of baby
In case baby has abnormal breathing sounds so soon see a doctor as it needs auscultation and examination.
