My baby is 9.4kg 9month old her body temperature seems high around37.4to 37.6degree is up and down phenomenon from more than 1 week. I have consulted physician but he says give medicine is body temperature is above 38 degree. I am not getting what to do please help me

Author of questionMom of a 3 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. But sir sometimes temperature goes to 37.8 to 37.9 degree but not cross 38 so cant give the doctor medicine. Is there any way to decrease body temperature

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. when you take the temperature in the armpit of the child with the help of a digital thermdometer and if it is 100 f (37.7 c) or more then you consider it as fever or when you take the temperature in the oral cavity .
of the child and if it is 99 degree fahrenheit then you consider it as fever and then paracetamol is given.
along wixth paracetamol continue body sponge and keep the child in light clothes.
