Q.

My baby is 8months old, but her weight is not increasing much. What can be given to make her healthy.

A. you should feed each breast atleast for 15 to 20 min. because initial min what u feed is completely water content, when buy start to drink thick milk then oly she can possible to gain her weight..my baby birth weight was 2.5 kg now she is 3 n half month old with 5.4 kg

A. for Healthy weight gain,feed your child on demand. feed your child on each breast at least 20 minutes so he or she can get full fat hindmilk well which help to increase your child weight. offer starch rich food like boiled potatoes, sweet potatoes, rice to your child. give energy dense fruits like apple banana papaya etc to your child. give Massage to your child daily maintain good hygiene

A. hi babies weight gain depends on their birth weight. usually they gain double their birth weight by the age of 6 months. and ideally ,8 months old baby should have weight between 5.5 to 6 kg. so ensure that your child weighs enough or not.
