Q.

my baby is 8days old and has not been able to latch till now. so I express and feed him to ensure he is not hungry else he keeps crying. is this normal for the baby to not learn latching so soon and should I express so regularly and feed him or give him expressed milk only once?

A. in the beginning baby may be having latching problems for different reasons problems can be in the mother can be in the baby at present it can give frequently expressed breast milk and let the baby feet in between directly from the breast

A. good evening I would definitely recommend you try to feed the child directly it is important for the child to be able to learn how to latch otherwise the child might never have mothers milk directly
