A. At 8 months, babies usually need 2 naps during the day and about 10–12 hours of sleep at night. If your baby is fussy and not sleeping at night, try setting a calming bedtime routine—like a warm bath, gentle massage, and dim lights. Avoid overstimulation before bed. Keep nap times consistent and not too late in the evening. If sleep issues continue, consult your pediatrician.
