Q.

My baby is 8 months old. Refusing to take bottlefeed. What should I do. He is eating 3 major meals in the form of nestle cerelac, makhana and dry fruits powder cerelac and khichdi And 1 fruit as snack (papaya or apple). He is also breastfeeding in between meals. But totally refusing formula milk from bottle. Is there any problem if does not take sufficient amount of milk

A. Dear mum, if your baby is taking 3 meals a day and is also breastfeeding in between, then this is absolutely fine. You should avoid bottle feeding and can also avoid giving formula. If baby is active, playful, passing urine more than 6 to 8 times in 24 hours, achieving all growth milestones, doubles the birth weight by 6 months and triples the birth weight by one year then do not worry.
