Q.

my baby is 8 months old n since 2 weeks n more he is struggling hard poop ... i read that the baby might suffer from constipation but my baby looks fine he is not fussy n will not have any stomach ache anythng ..wht shall i do to not poop hard ?

A. constipation in children is common in which diet modification needs to be done like including high fibres in the diet for which you can give seasonal fruits like papaya, watermelon and seasonal vegetables will also help you can give daliya , oatsmeal also to your child which is rich in fibres and nutrients tooo. giving excess of milk may also cause constipation, so you should limit its quantity.also avoid banana which may aggravate .lactulose or polyethylene glycol is of good help, sorbilene is also an option but you should give any medicine or suppository only when prescribed by your pediatrician.. medication is the secondary ohfrption.diet modification is the key.plenty of liquids are of great help too.

A. It Could be due to that your child is having dehydration lack of water can also result in hard hard popping necessarily does not mean it is constipation it could be just lack of water in the body to increase the amount of water and Phiber into your child’s daily diet
