Q.

my baby is 7 month old ,right from birth has low weight ,born early 8.1/2 month .had 2.2 kg weight when born. wish to know ,can we add few drops of ghee in his diet. can we introduce raggi porridge and upma in baby diet .

A. definitely can add. Better to use home made ghee if possible. Ghee’ is a healthy source of fat and contains the all DHA..DHA has been deemed as necessary for brain development and growth. ghee is a rich source of fatty acids and vitamins like A, E, and D. Besides, it also contains vitamin K that helps calcium to be absorbed in bones. Loaded with calories, ghee is a good energy booster, which is able to satisfy the requirement of extra energy, especially if he or she is a fussy eater.

A. hi yes ,the answers of your all questions are yes. I mean ,you can add few drops of ghee while serving food like khichdi , porridge etc to your child. you can also give ragi porridge ,upma in liquid consistency.
