my baby is 7 month old n her tongue colour is black i gave her similac advance formula milk and cerelac wheat flavour. any serious issue or not

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. hi, do regularly clean her toung, in case if u r giving iron drops than it's ok. but if not than, it's preferable to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.

However, an overgrowth of bacteria or fungi within the mouth can also cause the tongue to appear black. Black tongue is temporary and tends to clear up without treatment.
