My baby is 6months old and breastfeeding also. today ENT specialist has prescribed some tablets for me to take. I have attached the tablets details.. Can I breastfeed while taking those tablets?? please reply

as the medicine get desolve in milk so you can feed after some hours and yes it will be good if you dicard that milk

Neelam sharmaMom of a 15 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. two of the medicines are there which can pass through breastmilk and make baby drowsy so if doctor is not available to change the medicines you can feed baby after gap of 3 hours atleast.
meanwhile give baby formula milk or some semi solids

Tablets are
1.Stemetil MD 5mg
2.Cefben
3.Medmont L
Taken one dose, will create any problem? please reply

if there is antibiotic, steroids, or any hard painkillers has been given then avoid feeding the baby or do consult with your doctor for alternative medicine
