Mom of a 1 m old boy2 weeks ago

Q.

My baby is 6 weeks old. some days he feeds for 1 hr some time only 5 or 10 mins. his diaper output is normal and weight gain is normal. i am worried about my supply. sometimes i feel engorgement sometimes my breast is very soft.is this normal

A. Hello my dear parent! There will be some changes in the feeding pattern as your baby grows. Nothing to worry as long as your baby is healthy and active, gradually, gaining weight, passing adequate urine 6 to 8 times daily. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby on demand for the first six months, speak to your doctor for further guidance.
