My baby is 6 week old she does not sleep at night

ExpertDr. Pandurang sawantPaediatrician1 Year agoA. not sleeping at night Sleep pattern varies from baby to baby Generally baby sleep for 14-16 hrs at this age Keep a watch on urine output Baby should pass urine minimum 6-8 times per day Feed properly before sleep to ur baby Switch off or dim light before sleep Sing a song or cuddle ur baby Check and change urine and motion immediately after passing it Baby commonly wakes up 2-3 times at night for feed

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Sleep Cycle in smaller babies is very different and they have a certain pattern initially which becomes regularize at around 6 to 8 months of age and if the baby is comfortable with no irritability because of infantile colic nasal blockage any regurgitation etc you should not worry justiu give a comfortable position to the baby and no medicine is required.
