it is important for you to know that the weight of the child depends upon the genetic patterns and in that pattern only the weight gain will be present
It also depends upon the diet the child is taking
so it is advisable that you should meet the doctor who will tell you whether there is anything to worry or not and whether the child requires any health supplements.
the child should be given different flavours and recipes made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits daily in small amount.
you can I add ghee groundnuts dryfruits in the diet and this will help in improving the weight of the child

completion of six months is right time for introducing food and water to your child
you can give warm dal water moong water or rice starch with small quantity of spices and ghee
you can give properly cooked rice and khichdi
