Q.

My baby is 6 months old. I have started formula milk but she barely has 2 ounces. Does this happen when babies start with formula feeds? I am also feeding her breastmilk.

A. dear mum, if you are breastfeeding your baby, then there is no need to give formula. breast milk should be the primary source of milk for your baby at this age and is the most healthy. you can give outside milk in the form of recipes like porridge, kheer and milk products like curd, paneer.

A. I understand that breastmilk is best. But since I have started going to office, we thought it would be best to start giving her formula milk. I pump and keep certain amount. But since she is starting solids and her appetite for it is less, we also give her formula feed to keep her full. In this scenerio, can u please suggest if infants take time to adjust to the taste and would she gradually increase her intake.
