A. three meals fir 6 month old is too much.. At 6 months, baby needs one meal only. Start veggies steamed & mashed, porridges or fruits or porridge, kherr .

A. Straining while pooping can be due to constipation. Give sips of water in between meals. Initially, when the baby completes 6 months, you should start with one solid meal per day. After 1-2 weeks, you have to introduce one more meal so it becomes 2 meals per day. When the baby completes 7 months, you can start offering 3 solid meals per day. Apple Juice helps in constipation.
