Q.
My baby is 6 months and 2 weeks old. He hardly eats a small teaspoon of solid. And just closes his mouth when we sit for eating. He cries and spits out all the food. Please help

Author of questionMom of a 2 yr 10 m old child2 years agoA. Hi Pooja thanks for responding. However why does he cry so much. As per doctor 1 bowl per time should be eaten however he eats one spoon in entire day . When we give him milk he is happy

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. This is known as the 'tongue-thrust reflex' and it will diminish as your baby gets older. Try not to worry if your baby spits back food – this is a common weaning problem. It may not be because they dislike the food , but because they are still learning to eat
