Q.

My baby is 6 months 6 days old .As he is formula feeded so I have switched to Aptamil stage 2 formula.But my baby's stool is getting so hard .He starts crying while passing stool .So my question is can I continue with stage 1 formula for now ? and kindly tell my some vegetables that i can give to my baby.

A. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially tjihe semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be gxiven only in medical supervision .
