my baby is 6 month old and weight is 7kg it is normal

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist7 years agoA. weight for the age of baby is normal, do not worry. baby should gain at least five hundred gram per month and should double the birth weight by 5 months and triple the birth weight by one year.

meghali BorahMom of a 8 yr 10 m old boy7 years agoA. It depends on the baby's birth weight. Whatever is the baby's birth weight it should be double by six months and triple by 12months. Babies loose weight after birth by 200 to 400 grams and regain it within a month . And after that it increases by 500 to 600 grams per month. Whatever was your baby's birth weight, you can calculate it accordingly. Also I would like to mention that if the baby is happy and active and have six clear pees in a day then nothing to worry about weight. Feed the baby on demand

Weight gain chart for babies In the beginning baby loses 200-300 GMs of weight which is common then A baby must gain 500-700 GM per month Up to 6 months 200-300 GMs per month up to 1 year 150-200 GM each month up to 2 year But be assured that if ur child is active and achieve milestone on time u should not worry but keep on trying to improve weight Babies below 6 month should be fed for longer duration to improve weight To improve weight u should feed ur baby with Cashew and pistachio ( above 8 months) Sweet potato, potatoes Meals cooked in desi ghee Banana shake And all fruits and vegetables are to be given to the baby for development To improve appetite off your baby you should give ur baby ajwain water who is above 06 months of age and you can also give your baby lime water who is about 1 year
