my baby is 6 and half month old and her head and neck is hot than body and she has 98.6 F temperature and in sleep just now I have checked her and had 100.3 F so can we consider temperature while sleeping

Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if requiredbk like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sgponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

Yes it is fever for the child you should go ahead with giving a proper medication whatever you have available right now you can repeat it after six hours again as the temperature increases or not decreasing with the medicine that you are giving when you kindly consult a doctor hasWrite Your Answer Here
