Q.

My baby is 6.5 months old, she had veg purée and Upma yesterday and today morning she passed motion twice liquid and semi liquid both. What causes baby to in digest ? Why are the reasons for this ?

A. Loose motion most of the time is because of some infection which could be viral or bacterial and in such case it is associated with symptoms like fever along with vomiting and loss of appetite . supportive treatment is very necessary where proper hydration should be maintained by giving ORS along with that probiotic can be given like enterogermina or econorm in a proper dose . Antibiotics has their role only if it is bacternhhial infection . for this doctor guidance is necessary .
