Q.

my baby is 56 days old and born at 35weeks and still he can't latch . I use nip shield but still does not get satisfied and my nipples are also not developed properly please help I want to feed my baby directly with nip shield

A. Hello mom you can try to massage your breast and also try to pull your nipple slightly outward you can get it examined by the gynaecologist as well to get a clear picture , also you can also pump the milk and feed the baby

Q. I am breastfeeding through nip shield as baby was not able to latch directly due to flat nipples issue. He is one month old and I have been trying to wean him off nip shield but not able to. I try to quickly change from nip shield to direct breastfeed during the feed when he has fed for sometime and is half asleep. But he struggles to latch and gets fussy and starts crying.
