My baby is 5 mounth old doctor said to give him nan lo lac.... Is it suitable or cow milk

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist7 years agoA. give formula . as a main drink, cow milk should be given after 1 year. it can be used in small quantities in recipes for babies after 6 months. formula is made especially for babies. cow milk proteins minerals are heavy to digest. hence not recommended

Vritika AroraMom of a 9 yr 5 m old boy7 years agoA. just trust your doctor and go by his advice. no need to introduce cow's milk before 1 year of age the child's digestive system is very delicate to digest the complex proteins present in the cow's milk and it does not have enough nutrients that are required by the baby. start with cows milk only after 1 year
