Q.

My Baby is 5 months old now. But still she is not passing motion everyday. Sometimes she takes morethan 7 days to pass motion. Is it normal? Is there any remedy?

A. Thank you so much Doctors. And I have one more doubt, is threre any issue on giving ' Carmicide' to 5 month old baby without Doctor's prescription.

A. Hello, your baby girl is 5 months old and she use to poop after every 5 days so don’t worry if the stools is not dried and hard so don’t be panic

A. this is absolutely normal in babies There is no need to use any medicines for constipation in babies below the age of 6 months a baby can go without passing stool even after 8 to 10 days also it is common in babies of this age
