My baby is 5 months old. My mother in law is suggesting me to start giving semi solid foods. Is it safe?

A. Namaste Mom, Yes you can introduce the baby to weaning foods first, but would recommend that you first start with liquid consistency foods & as they accept well they can be moved to semi solid and mashed foods,

A. Hello dear parent! Ideally semi solids and water should be introduced to the child only after 6 months complete. Consult your doctor for further assistance in this regard. Continue to exclusively breastfeed until 6 months. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy
