Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Flat head in Babies is very commonly seen mostly on one side initially when the baby is not flipping on the sides in the first few months . so because of the continuous pressure over the soft skull bones such flattening can be there . This normalises by itself gradually when the skull grows in size and shape with age .
No mustard seed pillow or any such kind of intervention like massage is required and doesnot ohelp for trwhe corrrection .there is nothing to worry at all.
Neelam ChinnappaMom of a 7 yr 3 m old boy3 years agoA. thank you for reaching out to us with this question as your baby starts to roll over and spends more time on the tummy the head will automatically take its original shape and the flathead will become ok that happens because they spend most of the time in one particular position
