My baby is 5 months old. He is having chest congestion. My mother in law is saying to give half boiled egg yolk to baby n onion juice as it extracts all the phlegm. Can this be given in 5 month old baby?

sonalMom of a 9 yr 2 m old boy6 years agoA. hello Mommy! absolutely not. your baby is still five months old and has not started eating solids. egg is a well known food allergen and can cause allergy to baby. take your baby to the doctor and he will prescribe you medicine

Shruti SuranaMom of a 12 yr 7 m old boy6 years agoA. hi no you should not give all This stuff. baby should be exclusively breast fed till 6 months. if baby has chest congestion you can take her to paediatrician and give prescribed medicine. you can massage warm mustard oil on baby's chest
