Mom of a 5 m old boy1 week ago
Q.

My baby is 5 months old. He breastfeeds for around 20 minutes, and after that he doesn’t take a feed again for almost 5 hours. Is this normal? How frequently should a 5-month-old baby take feeds, and how long should each breastfeeding session usually last?

A. A child can easily take time of two or three hours to take a feed and if your child is gaining sufficient amount of weight then there is no problem but you should from your side try to feed every three hours I think that would be a good way to feed the child from time to time
