Q.

my baby is 5 months old..and i need to ask you why she sucks her fingers..and what i do for her that she will not able to do this.. and also her saliva runs out alot..what i can do ..and why she doing this..please tell me

A. all this is a sign of teething makes baby cranky due to pain swelling and gum irritation. Can give a silicon or wooden teether or pacifier for ease irritation. clean and massage  baby s gums by fingers. give vit d 3 vita must d 3 or KLM D 3 or D SOL 800 I U 0. 5 ml or 400 I U 1 ml daily till 1 year for strong bones and teeth

A. Hi, saliva is common in babies. Which is the indication of babies getting ready to eat solid food. Gently massage on the gums with your fingers twice a day. Apply Neem juice on the fingers so that baby will stop sucking their fingers. Actually as they grow they will stop keeping the thumb in the mouth. Exclusively breastfeed and burp your baby well after every feed until six month. Once baby complete six month you can start with semisolid food like porridge, police, water, Dal water.Write Your Answer Here
