Q.

My baby is 5 months old and from yesterday her milk intake has dropped from 4 units to 2 units. She is on formula milk and it is very hot here in Uttar Pradesh. Is it ok?

A. Typically, a baby needs about 25 ounces of breast milk per day. So you'll need to divide that by how many feedings your baby typically has. So if you feed baby about eight times per day, he should get about 3.1 ounces of breast milk at each feeding. That's how much milk a 5-month-old should drink.
