Q.

My baby is 5 months and 22 days old, she is having cough from last 7 days. The cough has increased tremendously in the last 2/3 days. We were giving her T-Minic drops to her as advised by our pediatrician but that is not helping. Please advise on the below 1. Are these symptoms of Pneumonia 2. Should I get her tested for Covid-19 3. What medicines can be given to the baby for cough.

A. it is advisable to meet your doctor for examination because without examining it is difficult to tell whether the child is having pneumonia or some other problems or not so better to get in touch with your doctor

A. hello mum the first thing is if the chest is really contested that your child is even not able to breathe out properly then yes this is the symptom of the pneumonia the second thing Corona test should be done only under the Recommendation of the doctor and medication should also be given as described by the doctor only what you can do is Give your baby indirect steam least three times a day burn garlic ajwain in mustard oil let this oil get cool or warm rub that oil on his chest back Palms foot also keep your baby hydrated by breastfeeding and consult your doctor
