Q.
my baby is 5 months and 13 days she is doing mostly time green poop ,she drink a formula milk 3 times in a day. is green poop is bad?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. the green colour that many times is present in the stool is due to the digestive enzymes (bile )present in the stomach and when the food reacts with thex digestive enzymes this can give green colour to the stool. the importance is of consistency of the stool so if the consistency is watery and green then only you need to meet the doctor but if it is semi solid to solid green stool then no need to meet the doctor. x

Green coloured and grey coloured motion both can be associated with formula feeding of the child and you are very clearly mentioning that your child is on formula feeding 3 times in the day and that’s the basic reason why the poor colour of your child is green in colour so don’t worry about it
