Q.
my baby is 5 month old. some times her stool is little bit blood. yesterday I consult doctor he suggest sprbiline syrup. it is safe for baby. and it is useful?

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 4 years agoA. if baby is passing hard stools continuously may be due to that blood is seen in stools in this case you need to have more of fibrous food in case if you are breastfeeding only your baby
If in case you are giving formula food please maintain the Powder and water quantity as per advice to avoid constipation

If Paediatrician only has suggested you this medicine that I am sure that it would be safe only otherwise why would you are Dr give you any medicine which is not safe for your child see most of the times when you see blood it is due to stomach infections or maybe which is why your doctor must have advised you with this medicine
