my baby is 5 month old and her weight is 5.800 kg. Is it under weight?

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist5 years agoA. dear parent, weight of 5.8 kg is not underweight for 5 months old baby. weight is absolutely fine. baby should gain at least 500 gram per month and should double the birth weight by 6 months.

shreya goelMom of a 7 yr 11 m old boy5 years agoA. Hello mom Baby weight should be triple in a year according to birth weight. And after one year baby gain weight slowly. Baby weight is little less. But don’t worry if baby is active and taking proper feed on time then everything is fine.
