Q.
My Baby is 5 and half months old. He still wakes up every 2hrs for feed and now a days he is waking up every 1hour in the night . I need guidance and help for my baby sleep through the night. And how often should I feed the baby? His weight is 7.8kgs and height is 71cm and age is 5months 10 days old.

Author of questionMom of a 2 yr 1 m old child2 years agoA. He drinks for exactly 4 minutes and doesn’t take the feed even after force fed after that. I am not sure why he does that. Also I have feeling he doesn’t empty the breast completely. Again I may be wrong, any thoughts ?

The weight gain and the height of the child is very good but if your child is waking up every one hour to take the feed them there could be bright chances that your breast feeding is not keeping your child is full for a longer duration if you want to specially during the night time you can go ahead with giving formula feeding and feed only when the child is demanding
