Q.

my baby is 4months old.he is not passed stool for 4 days.is there any problem???

A. no it's fine It is very normal that infants and newborns may not pass stool for more than 10 days also and sometimes the frequency can be around 6 to 7 times per day also. Both the above frequency of stool passage is normal if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid. if the consistency is not hard then it is not constipation and intermittent crying is due to the colic pain due to gas
