Q.

My baby is 49 days old, we started cow milk for her but we found some red thread like structure in her poop then we stopped immediately to give her cow milk. Now she is taking formula milk ( lactogen 1) but she poops immediately after taking milk. she is not taking mother milk. kindly suggest. Thanks & Regards

A. Cow's milk should be introduced to the child only after 1 year of age . Earlier introduction of cows milk can lead to micro bleeding in the digestive tract. It's also deficient in iron vit E,C and essential fatty acid. It's also lacking ideal vc proportion of protein and fats present in breast milk or any formula milk .
