my baby is 48 days old. he smiled when I am talking to him. is that a social smile or just a reflex?

A. hi, in swing or cradle a baby feels like he or she is in womb. as babies in womb,get used to a lot of motion. so,it might be the one reason behind it. please keep Breastfeeding your child as per his or her needs. burp or hold your child on your shoulder in upright position after each feeding for 10 to 15 minutes maintain good hygiene.

A. hi, usually babies get social smile by the age of 6 to 8 weeks . but all babies are different ,so they achieve different milestones at different rate. please don't take stress in small matters,if your child gains enough weight,eat and sleep well then no need to worry about anything. Enjoy your parenthood.
