Q.
My baby is 43days now.. Initially he passed stool in black color which is normal.. After few days it's been pale yellow as expected. But, yesterday he went stool in black color again.. Is it normal? P.S. I started giving R.B.Tone Iron drops.. Is that the reason?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. r b tone drops are irin drops, so it's common n normal to have black color stool when having irin supplements. don't worry fir that, continue with drops.

shreya goelMom of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello mom Yes this is because of iron drops. Iron drops change babies stool colour and it is quite normal so you should not worry about it at all. If your baby is active and taking proper feed on time then everything is fine and nothing to worry about. Baby should be totally and mother’s milk and there is no need to give anything else till six months
