Q.

my baby is 40 days old, breastmilk is not sufficient sometimes for his hunger. i have to give 1-2 feeds of formula milk to him, is it ok to give formula milk 1-2 times a day while he is on breast feed? which formula milk is best for him?

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and you can give baby Aptamil and Farex formula milk if breast milk is less. Also also have shatavari powder with cow milk twice a day and have soaked meethi seeds early in the morning. And increase the intake of garlic ginger green leaves vegetables and dairy products in diet to produce more milk. Take care

A. yes dear. if you have low supply then it is best to start with good formula which contains FOS and helps in baby's proper growth and development. my nephew is also on mixed feed as my cousin had to go back to office. doctor suggested us to start with Dexolac stage 1 for my 4.5 months old nephew. it contains 36 vitla nutrients for baby's growth and development
