Q.
My baby is 4 weeks old , he is on formula feeding from day 1 ,as no breastmilk now, earlier breastmilk was there but he was unable to latch properly , now no breastmilk. I want to ask whether there are any adverse effects of formula on baby and how long I can give it to him and also what should be quantity of the formula milk

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl4 years agoA. hi if mother's milk is not sufficient or not possible to give ,it is ok to offer formula there isn't any harm. you can give it till after one year age. but to offer formula ,you first need to contact your pediatrician as he or she can prescribe formula as per your child age , health and weight
