Q.
my baby is 4 months old he is not drinking milk properly he is very fussy while drinking milk..he sleeps for 8 hours at night when he wakes up he doesn't want to have milk.. what to do...? anyways he plays well and looks happy

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. your child is having colic which is causing such behaviour.
colic is quite common in children before 6 months of age.
the usually start after 3 weeks of age.
you can give drops gastica or colicaid to the child 0.5 ml if the child is crying for more than 15 to 20 minutes due to colic pain.x
limb cycling movements as well as tummy time will help.
to prevent colic pain kindly do burping for 15 to 20 minutes after every feed and do not keep the child back on the bed after 1 burping because all the gas is not removed afterx one burping.

as a child is happy and active,no need to worry about it much.
it might happen because of fast flow of milk
so please try different feeding positions.
keep your child head slightly elevated while feeding
so your child can take feed well
