my baby is 4 months old he is having gas problem ven he was 45days old,n was passing green loose stools now frm a month he passes yellow stools n dt loose normal ,bt passing lot of gases wd bad smell...n frm 2days he is having mre gas problem as was nt before......n cries alot plzz doc.suggest wt to do now.....

Gas in smaller babies is a very common and a Matter of concern most of the times for care giver. its mostly because of immaturity of the gut . formula feed or early introduction of cows milk in babies may be aggravating factor. propehir burping after each feed is very important. Enzymte preparations like aglozyme or vitazyme can be beneficial.Also colicaid drops can be given.
