A. Dear mum, any top food should be introduced only after the completion of 6 months. Until then you should exclusively breastfeed. Breast milk is most nutritious and complete food for baby till 6 months: at one episode of breast feeding, feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.

The food cannot be given before the time of 26 weeks of birth so right now if you feel that you are not giving enough feeding to the child from your side can you can go ahead with giving Top feeding for the child that’s the option that mothers have if they do not produce sufficient lactation for the childWrite Your Answer Here
