My baby is 4 months old and on completely formula feeding. The formula I am giving is iron fortified. Is it necessary to give iron supplement?

Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children4 years agoA. There is no need for iron supplement unless your doctor has prescribed it. The baby only needs to take Vitamin D drops till he or she turns one year old. Apart from that, there is no need for any other medication.
