A. I had normal delivery 4 & half months ago. My gynaecologist had asked me to consult her if I don't get my periods by 4 months. Now that I've completed 4 & half months, she prescribed me Tab. Medroxyprogesterone for 10 days. I got my periods today. My question is, Will it affect my milk supply? Is it normal for all the gynaecologists to induce periods through tablets? If yes, why is it so? Isn't Lactational Amennoorhea supposed to be normal?

A. Occasionally a baby will refuse to drink from any type of cup or bottle. In this case, try feeding baby breastmilk with a spoon, dropper or syringe. If baby has started solids, mix the solids with lots of breastmilk.
